8/26AM UPDATE: THANK YOU to everyone who joined us last night for the final 'Thunder' event of 2012.

It definitely started out on an inauspicious note when two cars flipped in hot laps alone; but once the racing started it was a fast and furious night.

It was a beautiful night for racing with over 100 cars in the pit area, and an excellent crowd on hand.

Results will be posted at: www.speednetdirect.com/results.php?track_id=8954 after Susie gets them finalized and uploaded.

THANKS AGAIN for another wild and exciting night - see you at the "Patriot Day 40" at LSS on September 8th. The event flyer is posted under 'resources' and the press release is on the 'news' page.

8/25 4PM RACE DAY UPDATE: It has not rained at the track all day today and the radar shows all the precip headed far east of here; so everything is all set for a great night of racing tonight at LoneStar Speedway; with the first green flag schedule to drop around 8pm.

The pit gates are open right now to accommodate out of town drivers that are headed this way due to their hometown track being rained out.
