OPEN PRACTICE 2/6 NOW RAINED OUT

7:55AM 2/6/16 UPDATE: The open practice scheduled for today at LoneStar Speedway has been rained out. *We will let you all know later today if we will be able to postpone today's open practice to tomorrow (Sunday Feb. 7)* IF we can practice on Sunday, here will be the specifics: NOON-4PM. Open to any oval dirt track racing division. All pit passes $15, grandstands free. IF we can practice on Sunday, it will be everyone's only time to try out the newly reconfigured surface (now 70' wide all the way around) and on the new clay (brought in and incorporated during the off season) prior to next Saturday's LoneStar Sprint Smackdown (Feb. 13). 2/1 UPDATES: This race *WILL* be an IMCA RaceSaver points race! OPEN PRACTICE is now SATURDAY, FEB. 6 from NOON-4pm (instead of Sunday 2/7). LoneStar Sprint Smackdown/Points Opener Fires off Season on February 13th Kilgore, TX (1/13/16) by DarinShort.com. The 2016 LoneStar Speedway (LSS) schedule was released a few weeks back, and the first event of the season is going to be a wild one, with the 2nd running of the LoneStar Sprint Smackdown featuring $1,200 to win and $300 to start (24th) RaceSaver® IMCA Sprint Cars. The event will be held on Saturday, February 13th at 6pm. There is no entry fee due from any of the competitors in any racing division on race night. 2016 LoneStar Speedway Schedule Unveiled - More Races, More Specials! Kilgore TX (01/07/16) by DarinShort.com. During this short off-season, LoneStar Speedway (LSS) officials have been working nonstop on continued track reconfiguration, which will result in 70'+ racing surface all the way around, and today, the first round of the 2016 schedule is being unveiled. The season is highlighted by the addition of new events, more races and the inclusion of the 4-Cylinders to the LSS points divisions, which already include the high-powered Modifieds, Limited Modifieds and Factory Stocks.
