Due to the tremendous fan and race team support at the opening events at LoneStar Speedway (LSS) in 2012, speedway officials have decided to show their thanks by adding a special event to the calendar Saturday May 12th with Fast Family Fun Night, featuring $5 general admission tickets for all ages from 6 and up!

The three LSS points divisions will be racing a complete program of heats and features. The Modifieds will be racing for $1,100 to win, plus $600 to win for the Limited Modifieds and $300 to win for the Factory Stocks.

But then there’s the first of several ‘fun’ components to the night’s program, and that is, the Factory Stocks will be racing a second feature race (with full purse) – and the starting lineup will be determined by the finishing order of the first feature, except inverted! The last car finishing on the lead lap of the first feature will start on the pole and the winner of the first feature will start towards the back. Lapped drivers or those not finishing the first feature will line up behind the winner, and alternates may also be added from the B-feature to complete the field. There will be points awarded for the first feature race only.

For the kids, there will be bike drawings for both the boys and girls.

There will be several added 50/50 ticket drawings as well as other added surprises throughout the night for the LSS fans.

Here are some quick facts for the event:

-Grandstands open at 5pm, Hot Laps at 7pm with Racing to follow.
-Pits open at 4pm.
-General Admission just $5 (ALL ages 6 and older). Tickets available at the gate on race day only.
-Ages 5 and under admitted free with adult admission
-Upgrade any ticket to the Reserved Section (bucket seats) for $5 per person
-If you purchase tickets with MasterCard or Visa, there is a $1/ticket processing fee.
-All Pit Passes $30.
-No outside food/drink coolers are allowed inside, a full selection of economically priced food concessions, including beer, are available.
