Don’t forget, Lonestar Speedway is hosting their 1st Annual Fireworks Spectacular this coming Friday, the 3rd of July. It will be a wild night with fireworks in the air and great racing on the track. The Speedway is also proud to announce the arrival of “Happy the Clown” in which he will be there making balloon art, face paintings and tattoos for the kids! For the $2500 to win in the SUPR Late Models class, $2000 to win the Modifieds and $1500 to win the limited/sports Modifieds one is certain to see the best in the area compete on the fastest ½ mile dirt track in Texas. The event is sponsored by Smiley’s Racing Products and they will be donating 2 brand new Hoosier Tires for the highest finishing driver in each class that is running Hoosier’s on their racer. Gates open at 5PM and the action starts at 7:30PM. Ticket sales for online purchasing are now closed, but don’t be alarmed because you are still able to pick them up at the track! $15 for general admission tickets, $20 for the great reserved seats and $35 for pit passes. Children from ages 6-12 get in to the speedway for $10 and the little ones’ under five get in for FREE. If you are a senior or have a valid military ID your cost for the action is only $10. Ticket sales for online purchasing are now closed, but don’t be alarmed because you are still able to pick them up at the track!
